How did you come to incorporate this mode into the lexicon of your guitar playing and what inspired you?
Like everyone else who plays guitar, I assume you learned from other music or guitar players. These axes have between 30 and 40 frets and are capable of playing almost 6 octaves - into the violin range. He has been playing his self-designed (six and seven stringed) 'Sky' guitars (shown right) for many years now. From there, Uli went on to form Electric Sun, and later forged a solo career under own name that explored Uli's own totally unique musical vision. One of the earliest pioneers of Eurometal and Neo Classical guitar style, Uli's guitar work with the Scorpions in the early 70s set new standards for precision in the rock metal genre. Uli Jon Roth is both a legend and a cult hero among guitarists.
